How do I cash out my rewards and get real money?
You cash out your rewards by ordering a
SmileCity Cheque from the
Cash Out page.
To be eligible for a cheque, you first need to accumulate at least 3,300 SmileCity reward points.
Then it's a simple 3-step process:
- Select the cheque amount; depending on how many points you've accumulated, you'll have the choice of a $30 cheque (3,300 points) or a $100 cheque (10,100 points).
- Confirm your postal address to ensure the prompt delivery of your cheque.
- Check your order summary, then press Place Order Now.
The 3,300 reward points required to redeem a $30 cheque includes an administration fee of 300 points. The 10,100 reward points required to redeem a $100 cheque includes an administration fee of 100 points.
SmileCity will charge an administration fee of 200 points to re-send a cheque that is returned to us as undeliverable.
SmileCity will charge an administration fee of 500 points to re-issue a cheque. This includes re-issue of a cheque that is originally issued in the wrong name, and re-issue of a lost cheque.
When will I get my cheque?
Cheques are processed only once a month, and there is a mandatory waiting period of 4 weeks. This means it will be
at least 5 weeks, and possibly
up to 8 weeks or more, before you receive your cheque.
You should only enquire about a delayed cheque if it has been at least 8 weeks since you requested it.
You can help to ensure fast delivery by
checking that your address is correct before requesting a cheque. You would be surprised how many times a cheque is returned to us as "undeliverable", simply because the member made a mistake entering their address.

What if my cheque is made out in the wrong name?
The cheque is automatically printed in the name that is currently on file with us. If when you joined you entered a false name, or if for some reason you have changed your name (such as by marriage), there is a
process you must go through to change the name we have on file for you.
