- This auction is operated by SmileCity and all SmileCity terms and conditions, published on the SmileCity website, apply. These include terms and conditions applicable to the accumulation and redemption of reward points and terms and conditions applicable to auctions.
- Bidding is open from 14 December 2011 to 20 June 2012.
- SmileCity makes no guarantee about the final sale price of the auction item.
- Vehicle for auction is a white, base model Holden Barina hatch, manual transmission. All standard on-road costs are included. If the auction winner prefers a vehicle with automatic transmission, or a vehicle with additional factory or dealer-fitted options, they may indicate their preference after the end of the auction. SmileCity will then endeavour to source a vehicle matching the auction winner’s preferences. However the auction winner will be liable for the additional cost of automatic transmission ($2,000) or the additional cost of any other options.
- If SmileCity is unable to source a vehicle as specified from a dealer located close to the auction winner, SmileCity reserves the right to substitute a vehicle of any other make and model, trim and specifications to an equivalent value.
- If the winner is suspected to have won the auction by means that are in breach of SmileCity terms and conditions, SmileCity reserves the right to suspend delivery of the car in order to investigate. If it is found that the winner has won the auction by means that are in breach of SmileCity terms and conditions, SmileCity reserves the right to void that person’s winning bid and award the auction win to the next highest bidder.
- Upon acceptance of the new car the winning bidder agrees to provide SmileCity with a photograph of themselves with the car as well as a written testimonial. The winning bidder agrees to their photograph and testimonial being used publicly for marketing and advertising purposes for an indefinite period of time.
