Three simple tips to help you turn your points into cash:
1. Set up a PayPal account:
If you don’t have a PayPal account go to https://www.paypal.com/nz/webapps/mpp/home and click on ‘Sign-up’. Be sure to use your SmileCity member email address when you enter your details. If you already have a PayPal account, but with a different email address then please make sure you add your SmileCity member email address to your existing account.
2. Use your SmileCity email address:
All point redemption transactions will utilise the PayPal account which matches the email address used for your SmileCity correspondence. If you already have a PayPal account existing under an email address that is different from the one you used when registering with SmileCity, then you can simply add your SmileCity email address to your existing account. Click on “Log in” followed by “profile” / “email” / “update” / “add”.
3. Verified PayPal Account:
PayPal gives you the possibility to have your account verified. That means that you have more freedom and flexibility in sending and receiving money through PayPal. In addition the “verified” status will also give you more credibility with anyone you send payments to or receive payments from. Please note that you will only be able to receive your redemption if your PayPal account has a “verified” status.
